The Decor Corner Tsumeb

I was raised in Tsumeb and attended school there from primary through to high school. After finishing, like many Namibians, I left for South Africa to pursue university studies. Although I had a strong interest in interior design, I chose to study tourism instead. I continued down the tourism career path for a while but eventually made the decision to return to Tsumeb and join the family business – Tsumeb Build It. Living in a small town, far from major cities, I realized how inconvenient it was to travel over 400 kilometers just to buy something beautiful for your home. I started small, selling only chalk paint (which I still offer today). Over time, I expanded into selling quality bedding and rattan baskets. My mom then joined the business, and together, we worked hard to build trust with our suppliers. We hit a big milestone when Hertex saw the potential in our small shop. In 2024, we were given the exciting opportunity to try the "shop-in-a-shop" concept. We moved into Build It Tsumeb, and that’s where we are today. Just two ladies with a passion for making homes beautiful. We import all of our stock from South Africa, providing our customers with unique finds at affordable prices. Our goal is to expand across Namibia, reaching even the most isolated areas, and making it possible for everyone to decorate their homes beautifully.
